I Love You a Latte is Wingarden Creative's second show for young audiences, created to teach ages 10+ about empathy through the five love languages (each represented by a barista). Workshopped at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, I Love You a Latte is perfectly suited for casts of all sizes above the age of 10, and can be performed in a multitude of unique locations.

Welcome to "I Love You a Latte" Coffee Shop, where strangers become friends, and friends become family. The baristas give their customers the perfect cup of coffee, and whatever advice they may need to face the day! After opening the shop, the baristas meet Reggie and Terry, Melody and Viktor, and Ava and Clara, who all need a little quality time with one another. Reggie and Terry have a tough conversation about Reggie changing majors, and Terry storms out. Melody and Viktor learn about acts of service, while Ava and Clara learn about words of affirmation. Then, the baristas auction off a coffee mug, and the winner turns out to be Terry! She wants to give the mug back as an apology for causing a scene earlier, but the baristas recommend she use it to apologize to her son. The two meet up again and hug it out, before the baristas put the shop to bed.

Represents gift giving. Hand paints mugs to auction off once a week. Very caring, feels like the shop mom.
